Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate Surfactant derived from coconut and palm oil for detergents, Organic, admitted by ICEA in formulations, also known as sarcosyl, is a delicate but effective anionic surfactant belonging to the acyl sarcosinate family, which creates a soft and soft foam.
Phytic acid : obtained from rice fermentation, it is a powerful chelating agent capable of preventing the oxidation of biomolecules, and has interesting anti-inflammatory properties. As a mechanism of action, it is an inhibitor of the Fenton reaction, which is initiated by the presence of an initiating agent such as Iron II ion and leads to the formation of the OH radical. Particularly reactive, the OH radical attacks numerous biomolecules with consequent damage to all cellular components. Phytates, powerful chelators of iron, can block the catalytic effect of this metal, saturating all its coordination sites. Phytic acid has two other important properties: a depigmenting effect due to the inhibition of tyrosinase ( a very important effect in an anti-aging preparation which must also counteract age spots), and a marked moisturizing and anti-inflammatory effect, for which it already represents, for only, an innovative and natural multifunctional component.
Provitamin B5 or panthenol is the reduced alcohol form of pantothenic acid (vitamin B5). By virtue of its marked moisturizing, emollient and soothing action, it is the ingredient of choice in many dermo-cosmetic products intended for dry or irritated skin. Pantothenic acid is also a component of phosphopantetheine, a molecule which, together with serine, plays a key role in the synthesis of fatty acids. It seems ubiquitous: it is found, in particular, in chicken liver and mango, in brewer's yeast, in wheat bran and in royal jelly. Its usefulness in dermatology is dictated by the fact that its deficiency can lead to skin alterations: redness, fissures and seborrheic dermatitis. The application of panthenol-based creams improves dermal trophism, increasing hydration of the stratum corneum, regulating transepidermal water loss and improving the organization of intracellular lipid lamellae. Positive effects are also recorded in the treatment of skin wounds, where the application of panthenol-based creams has proven to be able to improve the migration and proliferation of fibroblasts, accelerating wound healing.
